About Me

“Kia ora, I'm Zoe. My friends and family describe me as a 'serial hobbiest' - I've tried my hand at almost everything and the reason why boils down to my natural curiosity and a passion for connection. Every time I join a new organisation or try a new activity, I meet new people and learning about their experiences helps me to better understand the world around me, and in turn I can relate to and support others better. I am a Board Member of TUANZ - the association for users of digital technology and connectivity in Aotearoa. I am a technology professional with experience across a range of different industries, and in both the private and public sector. I am passionate about all New Zealanders having equal opportunities - in education, work, and recreation. I believe technology has a role to play in many scenarios to facilitate a 'level playing field.' Technology also enables organisations to be efficient, to ensure the best use of limited resources, and to take advantage of national and global learnings - as does good governance!”
