“I have the skills and personality to make a positive contribution to this sector, particularly as a female with extensive Executive experience in the sport and recreation industries, combined with growing governance experience, currently in sport and education. As a mother of two young girls, I place significant value on participation in and access to a variety of sports and physical activity, and the life skills and personal development that such involvement brings. I am passionate about leadership and am an advocate for gender equity, both in the workplace and in sports. I have over 20 years experience at executive level in recreation and sport, specialising in a diverse marketing portfolio, combined with a genuine passion to contribute to sport in New Zealand, from amateur to professional. With a track record of driving commercial results through customer focus, strategic insight, sound financial management and empowered teams, I would bring a relevant and valuable perspective to a Board. ”
