“Experienced governor, elected representative and community leader with expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, communications and volunteer-led organisations. I have worked across local government, central government and the community sector, bringing people together to achieve positive outcomes for diverse communities. As a Nelson City Councillor with responsibility for sport and Saxton Field, I am passionate about increasing opportunities for women and girls in sport and active recreation. Having come to organised sport later in life, I bring both lived experience and a strong commitment to creating inclusive environments where all women and girls can participate, belong and thrive. ”
