About Me
“Senior data scientist with a PhD in Movement Neuroscience and over a decade of experience leading strategic, multi-stakeholder projects across health, research, and government. I bring governance-ready expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, funding oversight, and data ethics, shaped through roles in academia, government and community sport. My leadership style is collaborative and outcomes-focused, with a strong foundation in evidence-based decision-making. As a former national gymnast and current volunteer coach and judge for Gymnastics NZ, I combine lived experience in sport with a deep commitment to athlete development, inclusion, and safe sport environments. I’m seeking board roles where I can help shape high-performing, inclusive futures for sport and recreation in Aotearoa.”
