Grounded in te ao Māori and kaupapa Māori values, Mariana brings strong capability in strategy, performance oversight, and partnership development. Her governance approach prioritises mana motuhake, accountability, and innovation, ensuring decisions reflect both whānau aspirations and evidence-based practice. With a PhD in Indigenous Development and Advancement, she combines academic rigour with practical leadership in commissioning, workforce development, and cross-sector collaboration.
