About Me

“I am a motivated individual with a history of high achievement in multiple spheres and a recent track record in managing and growing a successful business. As General Manager for Axis Sports Medicine Specialists, I work closely with our board of directors and alongside our managing director and have built the specialist service to be the largest in the country with multiple sites across the Auckland region including project managing an architectural award-winning medical facility, and opening a further clinic in Queenstown. I am responsible for all strategic and operational facets of the business. My time at Axis has seen both our clinician numbers double and our support staff triple in order for us to diversify and expand our services to meet demand. I am interested in working with sports and recreation organisations as a former Olympian along with experience being involved at various levels in community sport. I am a current school Board of Trustees member and was selected as part of the NZOC’s inaugural Women in Sport Leadership Academy. Motivation and time management has been critical in combining work (both voluntary and paid), post-graduate study, family and the demands of training at the elite sporting level. I’m confident of bringing this level of dedication and commitment to the board room. ”
