About Me

“I'm a lawyer hailing from Tauranga with two boys who love their sport as much as I did growing up. I have enjoyed my 9 years on the Campbells Bay School board and am now looking for a role with a broader scope. I'm passionate about both eliminating inequities that prohibit women from making their career in sport and challenging cultures that permit and excuse sub-standard treatment of women in sport. I also know the important role that local clubs play in getting kids to move more while bringing communities together. I think I can use my skills (written, verbal, analytical, persuasive, decision making) to serve any sporting body that is willing to challenge the status quo in order to make sport more accessible and enjoyable to more people.”
