About Me

“Hi, I’m Holly, a Christchurch-based Senior Advisor at NZTA Waka Kotahi. My career has centered around strategic planning, investment case development, and risk management - mainly in the transport infrastructure space. I’ve worked across government and consultancy roles, helping shape decision-making frameworks and advising boards and committees on complex transport projects. I’m someone who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement, whether it’s refining systems at work or mentoring emerging professionals in my field. I enjoy thinking strategically, solving problems, and making sure the right questions are being asked at the right time. Outside of work, I stay active, whether it’s hitting the gym, running with my dog, or getting on the squash court. I also volunteer as a youth squash coach, and I’m passionate about supporting others to grow and succeed. I’m keen to contribute more in governance roles, where I can bring my advisory experience and strategic mindset to the table, while continuing to learn and develop in new ways.”
