About Me
“I am an executive leader and emerging governor with a career spanning central government, local government, education, tourism, and the recreation sector. I currently serve as National Operations Manager at the New Zealand Outdoor Access Commission, where I support strategic and operational initiatives that improve public access to the outdoors and strengthen connections between people, places, and communities. Throughout my career, I have led national programmes, driven organisational improvement, and worked alongside boards, chief executives, elected members, iwi, community organisations, and industry stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes. My experience includes governance support, strategy, organisational performance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and leading teams through change. I'm currently the vice presiding member of Wellington Girls College East, and as an emerging governor, I bring executive leadership experience combined with strategic thinking, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to governance. I am passionate about helping organisations achieve their purpose through sound decision-making, strong relationships, and continuous improvement. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my whānau, ocean swimming, yoga, and boxing. Originally from Austria, I have lived in New Zealand for many years and continue my journey in te reo Māori and tikanga Māori, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning and building genuine partnerships.”
