About Me
“My career is focused on improving the student experience in the tertiary education sector through inclusive, student-centred service design and strategic change. I bring strengths in engagement, communication, and experience leadership, with a background spanning management, events, marketing, and project delivery. I’m experienced in governance, facilitation, and leading organisational transformation with a focus on equity and impact. Raised in the Bay of Plenty, I now live in the Waikato and have strong whānau ties to Gisborne, Papamoa and Hauraki. I’m also a mum, and watching my children grow has become one of life’s greatest privileges. Sport has always played a big role in my life. I swam competitively for 15 years, was active in the Surf Lifesaving community, and later explored kayaking and triathlon. These days, I enjoy recreational running and swimming, often alongside my husband who competes in Ironman events and ultramarathons.”
