I grew up in rural West Auckland and now live in Waikato. I bring legal and strategic experience, proficiency in te reo rangatira and Kaupapa Maori analysis. I am fine tuned by the university of life as a contractor, mother of teenagers, caregiver and breast cancer survivor - and analyst/mobiliser of people in tribal Treaty of Waitangi negotiations. I believe that sports organisations and venues must be environmentally responsible. I believe that we as humans need to renew our relationships to Nature - and that if we truly belong to a place we have a lifelong duty to protect and care for it. ”
