About Me

“Stuart Bilbrough is an experienced New Zealand senior executive with more than 30 years’ leadership experience across healthcare, aged care and retirement village sectors. He has held Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer roles with Promisia Healthcare, Radius Residential Care and Tamaki Health, and brings over a decade of direct experience in the retirement village and aged care sector. Stuart has a strong track record in strategy, financial governance, performance turnaround, capital raising and M&A, including leading NZX listing preparations, delivering significant EBITDA improvement, and overseeing multiple acquisitions and divestments. He has worked closely with Boards for more than 25 years, supporting robust governance, risk management and “no surprises” reporting. He currently operates Peak Care Advisory, providing consulting support to retirement villages, aged care operators and primary healthcare providers, with a focus on development feasibility, statutory supervisor engagement, funding and performance improvement. Stuart holds an MBA (Distinction) from Massey University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury, and is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ). Stuart is currently completing is Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services. He is a past Director of the New Zealand Underwater Association and CPA Australia (NZ Branch Council) and has recently joined the Board of Beetham Village and Healthcare, a retirement village operator in Gisborne. He has completed the six day IOD Company Directors course.”
