I am delighted to have been appointed by Wellington City Council to serve as a trustee on the Wellington Zoo board. "Wellington Zoo is New Zealand’s first Zoo, and Wellington’s oldest conservation organisation, caring for animals since 1906. The Zoo is a not for profit charitable trust, and has been that way since 2003. The Trust runs the Zoo on behalf of Wellington City Council." A member of the Audit and Risk Committee

A sporting not for profit, with a membership of 200, the Club has undergone significant strategic change since 2015. I was the first women elected as President and have been instrumental in the development of its first Board. As Chair, I helped develop and released a 10 year strategic plan, revised our mission statement and updated the Constitution, bringing it into line with current best practice. During my time as Chair and President of the Club, Wellington Rowing Club was named 2016 New Zealand Rowing Club of the Year.
