“My favourite occupations have let me use my talents as a leader, communicator, strategist and advocate. My passion is finding and using the strength in combined, united teams to build better business outcomes. Working for associations has taught me that effectiveness can always be measured. I understand the importance of being seen to be reporting to stakeholders, not just talking about doing it. I also understand the importance of financial accountability and reputation management, and the danger of not ranking these aspects of management highly enough. I’m known for calmness and for keeping my head in a crisis. What I think this means, is that I'm not phased by the need to take in new information, change tack, re-adjust priorities and move on.
