About Me

“I bring into the boardroom over twenty years of building and leading technology in regulated financial services, including as Group CTO of a global platform. I assess technology, data and AI decisions for the strategic direction they lock in and the cost of changing course later. Over more than a decade as a non-executive director, most of my board work has been with organisations in transition: platform consolidation, acquisitions and separations, establishing new governance and risk structures, and the organisational redesign that follows. At FNZ I helped build the wealth platform technology and later served on ten subsidiary boards across four countries. From 2019 I chaired the Asia Pacific Risk and Compliance Committee covering nine jurisdictions and $240 billion in assets under administration, with direct engagement with the FMA. My current boards sit primarily outside financial services in health and disability funding, health data, climate and energy transition, social impact, and user research software. I chair one board and have established risk and remuneration committees, overseen capital raises, and governed an acquisition and spin-out. Several deliver or support publicly funded services, where the standard of governance directly affects the people who rely on them. Across my board roles I have governed five M&A transactions, capital raises across angel, family office, venture capital and private equity, and assurance frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and NIST. I am seeking board appointments in the public sector, mission-led organisations, and regulated financial services, particularly where significant digital, data or AI change is underway. I help boards reach clear decisions on complex technology, data and AI matters, and test what has not yet been thought through before commitment. I want to be part of getting those decisions right.”
