“I have been involved in sport all my life in a variety of roles, including as a participant, manager, umpire, referee, coach, fundraiser, committee member, volunteer and mentor. I am experienced working with high performance athletes, both male and female, as well as with those who love the social side of sport. I have connections across several sporting codes at regional and national level. In my professional life I work in the tertiary education sector. I have connections and experience in the research environment, quality assurance, wellbeing and pastoral care. I have connections in New Zealand and Internationally. My professional experience combined with my sports connections allows me to provide a unique viewpoint as part of a board. ”
