About Me

“I am keen to serve on boards that contribute to the social, environmental, economic, and cultural wellbeing of Aotearoa New Zealand. I am ethical, intellectually agile, and collaborative. With this comes curiosity, diligence, and courage to raise issues that stretch the boundaries of board discussion. My strength is identifying and asking the powerful questions in complex and ambiguous situations. Twenty years of governance experience began as a Crown appointee, then more recent roles in the community/social purpose sector. Concurrently my consultancy work has focussed on working with Ministers, boards, and chief executives on machinery of government, and public sector governance, funding, and policy frameworks. Being well attuned to the political, public sector and governance environments, my particular value is to Boards within, funded by, or close to the public sector. ”
