A sporting not for profit, with a membership of 200, the Club has undergone significant strategic change since 2015. I was the first women elected as President and have been instrumental in the development of its first Board. As Chair, I helped develop and released a 10 year strategic plan, revised our mission statement and updated the Constitution, bringing it into line with current best practice. During my time as Chair and President of the Club, Wellington Rowing Club was named 2016 New Zealand Rowing Club of the Year.

Director and 50% owner of a manufacturer and distributor of New Zealand made gifts and souvenirs. A small business start-up which grew significantly in the first 5 years. Developing a strong strategic plan resulted in the business supplying over 150 retail outlets throughout New Zealand. The business was successfully sold as a going concern in 2013.
