Landcorp Farming is a State-owned Enterprise, owning or leasing 375,681 hectares of land. With 119 properties and 1.5 million stock units, we are one of New Zealand's largest farming organisations. We manage, develop and farm land of all types, from sub tropical Northland to cool temperate climate Southland. Landcorp also provides full or partial management service with our people plus on-farm and off-farm systems applied to large sheep, beef, deer and dairy farms owned by other individuals or entities.

Ministerial Appointment

Rural Broadband Initiative National Advisory Committee

The Committee provides guidance and advice to the RBI partners Ministry of Economic Development, Chorus and Vodafone to maximise benefits for the rural community. Acting as a primary forum for the views, expectations and aspirations of national stakeholders from a user perspective, the Committee provides ongoing advice to the RBI partners on any issues affecting the RBI rollout.


Federation of Maori Authorities

Established in 1987, the Federation is a national advocacy body representing over 150 Maori Authorities with assets including forestry, dry-stock, dairy, energy, horticulture, tourism, property, as well as Maori owned small to medium sized enterprises. The Federation advocates on behalf of its members across all industry sectors, partnering with key stakeholders to advance Maori participation in economic development in the interests of its members and New Zealand. In 2009, Traci was appointed as the Federation’s first female Chair.


Strada Corporation Limited

Strada Corporation is a civil engineering and road maintenance contractor based in Ngaruawahia with branches in Huntly and Te Awamutu. Strada completes all facets of civil engineering construction including pavement construction and maintenance, drainage and earthworks, retaining walls, environmental and project management.


Te Uranga B2 Incorporation

Established in 1910, Te Uranga is a Maori owned agribusiness valued at around $23million with an annual turnover of around $1million, reporting to around 770 shareholders. The property comprises operations in dry-stock, dairy, forestry, Nga Whenua Rahui reserves and woodlots. Te Uranga is committed to sustainable business management and showcases a corporate model which integrates culture, environment and farming imperatives resulting in improved bottom-line results. Traci was recently appointed the first woman chairman since the Incorporation’s establishment.
