As part of the Government Procurement and Property branch in Market Services, the Property Functional Leadership function assists agencies in meeting goals set by Government by striving for the efficient and effective management of the Crown estate. I led an international benchmark study to understand the key performance measures used across property portfolio holders in both private and public sectors. Also I led work on utilising data and analytics more smartly to inform business intelligence and benefits realisation.

Investment Management and Asset Performance (IMAP) team oversee the Crown's investment in the Crown estate. IMAP has a specific focus on improving the effectiveness of investment management and asset performance in the State sector. Within Treasury I managed the portfolio management system and reports function. This function provided visibility of investment decisions and advice to the government on trade-offs of their investment decisions. I made key contributions to the establishment of information governance, principles/ guidelines and alignment with strategy and best practice, portfolio frameworks. My role provided data analysis and the reporting of the strategic Government portfolio to a broad audience of key stakeholders including Ministers, Treasury, CFOs, DCEs and CEs within the respective agencies.
