I also led the introduction of a major productivity review conducted via staff engagement. I regularly attended and presented to the KiwiRail full board and sub committees new initiatives as well as progress reports on key project progress. This board work has included capital asset acquisition, organisational reshaping, union initiative and negotiation updates.

In this role, I reported to the board chair and attended regular monthly board meeting to present the monthly business report as well as additional matters like acquisitions and new business/market development.
