Participant of a Rangatahi Governance Development Programme reviewing areas that make up a governing body or board; board or committee member roles and responsibilities, strategy and strategic planning, measurement and on-going monitoring, risk management and communication. KEP (Ka Eke Poutama) provided exposure and opportunity to understand these key areas within programme delivery as well as providing opportunity to practice the application of this learning in tasks, assignments and exposure to enable actionable development within both a general and Maaori governance context.

My role was to evaluate the Urutapu Tamaahine Programme, its' delivery and outcomes in compliance to the $2M Investment Plan. Additional responsibilities included on-going research into what might be changing for young people and their families in the relevant communities of influence, milestone and evaluation review and reportin, data collection and evaluation, as well mentorship for the tamaahine on a tuaakana-teina basis to assist in achieving their goals.
