The SBDG enables departments and the government to take more fully into account the interests of SME's in policy initiatives and to provide a deeper understanding of how government can work most effectively with SME's. The SBDG will also provide the means for dialogue with SME’s.

We raise and distribute funds to children in need of basic necessities, vital medical equipment, life changing mobility needs and essential learning opportunities. Variety fills the funding gaps. We meet a wide range of grass-roots needs through three core areas: Future Kiwi Kids, Caring for Kids and Kids on the Move. One of the biggest initiatives launched for Variety in my tenure as a board member, is Kiwi Kids Sponsorship which directly sponsors individual kiwi children in need.
