As Board Chair, I led the governance of the organisation through a period of transformational change following the Canterbury earthquakes. Governance duties included appointing a new Chief Executive, settling the NZ$156m insurance claim, approving a new SIPO to ensure prudent management of finances, overseeing the NZ$290m heritage restoration project and rebuilding stakeholder confidence (culminating in the development of the Arts Centre of Christchurch Trust Act 2015).
